Rabbi Howard K. Glantz performs circumcision on newborn boys only. Trained in 1991, Glantz is a specialist in male infant circumcision with over 30 years of experience.  Jewish families seeking ritual circumcision, the Jewish covenantal ceremony, will find more religiously relevant information HERE.

Rabbi Glantz began training to perform circumcisions on infant boys in November of 1990.  After certification from OB/GYN, Dr. Jacob Shragowitz, of the Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Glantz began performing ritual circumcision as a mohel. â€‹Shortly into his tenure, he was called upon by non-Jewish families to perform their son's circumcision.  Oftentimes, these babies are born at birthing centers or at home.

Many families who only seek the procedure prefer the fast technique, the efforts taken to reduce discomfort, and the overall holistic approach of Rabbi Glantz. The differences from a hospital circumcision are manyfold. The rabbi comes to your home and arranges the best space.  You will have the option of administering sugar water, juice, or a small amount of wine to the lips of your precious one, found to reduce stress. The procedure itself rarely lasts more than 2 minutes. Your newborn is back in your hands quickly for nursing and nurturing.  â€‹

For nearly 30 years, Rabbi Howard Glantz has ï»¿served in this capacity.  He has felt privileged to arrive by foot, car, taxi, bus, train, and even by plane to accommodate the needs of families.  Can he help you?
